Recommended Music
Bobby Valentin & Cano Estremera Encuentro Historico is a highly recommended addition for collectors. The CD marks a reunion of the two after 15 years on their own. All 12 highly danceable selections were big hits for the team. Cano is considered one of the best soneros in the business. (A sonero is a singer who has a talent for verbal improvisation). Not all Salsa singers are soneros. Cano's soneos are known for his brand of rhyming quick whit punctuated with double and triple time vocalizations. The live recording was taped on August 22, 1997 for Bronco Records.
